Enjoy the world most famous CICLOVIA. In Bogotá every Sundays and Holidays the Bogota mayor office orders to shut down most of the biggest streets and avenues where usually the cars are riding. From 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. the streets are transformed in real and official bike ways where the minimum number of people is 1 million and the maximum up to 4 millions people going to enjoy Bogota by cycling, walking or riding skates and longboards. Also the people use La ciclovia (Bicycle way) to do many type of exercises as from professional cycling to Hard core.

Ciclovia now in Bogota is more than a simple day, it is a traditional day. La ciclovia have been in Bogota along 37 years. It were found in 1976 this idea born from dissatisfied students who made a pacific protest with bicycles in the most important streets to demand public spaces for people in the city like streets to ride bicycles. Then the state transportation office approved the idea. The dreams of students had become in a reality.
